Select teams have extensive experience in occupied 4-5 Star Hospitality Facilities. Each project within a Hospitality setting has its unique challenges and every project has tight deadlines. Our project teams are experienced in managing the construction services around hotel accommodations and within deadlines that have been committed to specific parties/conferences. Select has extensive experience with managing OFCI processes alongside Hotel procurement agencies. Our experience includes direct coordination of materials from manufacturer to vendor. Once received and quality checked, our teams coordinate logistical deliveries to the site for the next stages of finish installations.

Gaylord Rockies Pool Bar Nana-Wall

Project Summary

Select teamed with Rida Development and Marriott Gaylord of the Rockies in 2019 to complete a renovation of the public serving windows at the Pool Bar. This project included the removal of existing overhead coiling doors that were replaced with Nana-Wall Sliding Glass Windows. The scope of work included building envelope demolition and rework for new structural openings to receive the Nana-Wall Sliding Windows. Select self-performed demolition and rework of the opening and completed construction prior to the exterior pool opening for the season.

Sheraton Downtown Denver – Top Golf Swing Suite

Project Summary

Select partnered with Marriott and the Downtown Denver Sheraton to provide design build services for this project. We teamed with Path21 Architecture to provide architectural and engineering services to create this unique golf swing suite experience. This project took place inside the main lobby of the hotel and included in-depth daily coordination between construction and hotel operations. The scope of work included updates to MEP and fire systems, entryway improvements, enhancing accessibility, high-end interior finishes, custom FF&E, and interior/exterior signage. Our teams self-performed interior demolition, concrete patching, floor scraping, and self-leveling, and updating of existing code violations.

Hall of Fame Theater at Rally Hotel

Project Summary

The Colorado Rockies hired Select to complete this unique interior build-out. This project created an interior theater that can be utilized in multiple scenarios for the Rockies and Rally Hotel functions. The design was focused on creating a radius wall that represented the perfect curve ball. This radius wall is accompanied by 12” on-center acoustical ceiling baffles, creating an impressive acoustical environment. The scope of work was centered around coordinating the installation of pendant lights, fire sprinklers, and audio visual projection systems with acoustical ceiling baffles. Select self-performed floor protection of existing luxury vinyl tile and demolition of existing conditions. This project was successfully completed for the Rockies’ opening day events for the 2023 season.

Project Summary

Select partnered with Marriott and the Sheraton Downtown Denver to complete this 60,000sf interior finishes renovation for this “owner furnished, contractor installed” (OFCI) project. This project included daily coordination between construction and hotel operations to ensure that hotel guests and scheduled convention/meeting rooms were available for previously scheduled events. The project was phased and occupied by hotel staff and guests throughout the entirety of the renovation. The scope of work included demolition and removal and replacement of existing flooring, wall coverings, paintings, and finishes. Select self-performed the floor demolition, scraping, and self-leveling scopes of work. The team met all construction milestone activities allowing the hotel to successfully utilize their revitalized interior space for the planned events.
